Marketing was what you wanted from last years survey and so we began that journey with a micro-site on GoLakes, email marketing and social media and this is continuing to grow. I hope to email out after next weeks meeting to explain more for those who can't attend about plans for this year.
Part of the plan was social media marketing and I am grateful to Tess from Andessa who has been helping on the Facebook side. Over the half term, the posts for the customer page reached more than 21,000 with more than 3500 people engaged. Social media can play a big part in promoting us and takes a couple of minutes so please, like and repost, send offers through on the CockermouthTown page and help shout out to locals and visitors.
No silver bullet but all these things play a part so help us support you and join in.
