Cockermouth Christmas Hamper Competition 2018

Cockermouth Chamber of Trade has teamed up with Andrew Marshall from Strolling 4 Shoes and Allerdale Borough Council to run an amazing free-to-enter Christmas competiton over the 2018 festive period. From 09:00 on 19 November 2018 entries will be accepted at participating businesses for members of the public to win an amazing prize-fund. A big thank you to all of those Cockermouth businesses that have contributed to the fund. The winner of the competiton will be drawn on 19 December by an independent adjudicator. Cockermouth Chrsitmas Hamper Competition 2018 Full Terms and Conditions

  • The competition is being organised on behalf of Cockermouth Chamber of Trade
  • No purchase necessary to enter but entries are limited to a maximum of 20 per person
  • All entrants must be aged 18 years or over at time of entry
  • Completed entry forms should be submitted to participating businesses from 09:00 on 19 November 2018
  • Deadline for entries is 17:00 on 18 December 2018. Any entry received following this will not be counted
  • The winning entry will be drawn at random on 19 December by an independent adjudicator
  • The result of the competition draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into
  • The winning entrant will receive all prizes as stated on the prize-fund
  • Prizes cannot be exchanged for the monetary equivalent and must be redeemed in accordance with any conditions imposed by the business donating the prize
  • Prizes must be collected in person by the winning entrant at a place and time designated by the competition organiser
  • Where the organiser is unable to contact a prize-winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for 1 week following the organiser’s first attempt to notify the prize-winner, the organiser may apply the prize as it sees fit
  • The winning entrant is required to co-operate with the organiser’s right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, and to provide proof of age when requested
  • In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, the organiser reserves the right to administer the competition as though the error had not occurred. Where the organiser deems it appropriate and/or feasible it will notify entrants of the error
  • Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. The organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
  • The organiser’s decision in all matters relating to the competition is final
